Is there a way to change an address that you know is wrong in nuvi 250?

I wasn't sure how to word my question for the subject, so if you clicked to read the body, thank you! My home address in my nuvi is wrong - when I get to my street, it directs me to turn left instead of right and has my house number at the other end of the street. Not a big deal, since I know where I live , but it made me think about the question, is it possible to change a location/address that you know is incorrect?
Thanks in advance if anyone can help!
yes, you can set the coordinates instead of the address
When setting your "home" location, select "Use Current Location" instead of entering the address. (Do this while you are at home, of course!)
You can also edit the location of your "home" or other favorites by entering coordinates that override what has been assigned to the pre-loaded addresses.
I'm telling you this from memory (I don't have my GPSr in front of me right now), so I can't guarantee this will work, but it should get you on the right track.

That is why
That is why many of the files were created here. If you look up an addy in google or mapquest - they are sometimes on the wrong side of the road or several miles off. The coordinates we make try to be right on the money, and then add the correct address to them.

You may want to submit form
You may want to submit form to Garmin for the change too.See http://www8.garmin.com/cartography/mapSource/errorForm.html .Maybe in the near future they will update on the maps.
