This file contains locations for antenna towers of over 850 radio stations under the genre of ADULT CONTEMPORARY Radio, using FCC data for location.
This genre was suggested by Lance Williams and the station listing was collected from a search at http://www.ontheradio.net/. This file is the product of three of us: User Bob Ball, usually from Michigan, momentarily from Arizona, extracted education and non-commercial station data from NPR and put coordinates into DD.DDDD format. User Bob Brown of Florida from his GIS background tweaked and verified through spot checks using GoogleEarth photos. User Maury Kahn in Texas used his Excel knowledge to merge station tranmitterdata with the station roster into a file ready for upload. Users should understand that in the midst of a lot of file manipulation there may be errors, omissions and duplication.
