Worth the repeat

They found a guy floating Face down in the Cuyahoga River, the police figure he had left a west bank bar in the flats after the game against Pittsburgh. After pulling him from the water they noticed he had on a Browns Jersey with the number 3 on it, a pair of dangling ear rings, bright red lipstick, red skirt, black thong and a pair of dazzling red spiked high heels.

However the Cleveland police wanted to save the family of this man great embarrassment, so before they called the coroner to collect the body, they removed the browns jersey.

Go Browns

Calgary to Jasper

I am planning to take a trip in mid January from Calgary (YYC) to Jasper via Trans Canada Highway 1 then onto Highway 93 to Jasper. Is the road passable? How long will it take to make the trip? What time will it gets dark? Thanks in advance!

Just checking in

So it's the holidays and we all eat to excess. Since I do all the cooking at the house (lucky wife!), here's what's up for the rest of the week. Tonight - chicken and dumplings, all made from scratch. Tomorrow, it's off to a New Year's Eve party where I've been asked to make and bring mini Italian meatball and sausage subs, smothered with sauce and mozarella. Thursday it's a big pot of beef stew. Friday, we'll do leftovers or head out for Chinese. Saturday, it's off to Pittsburgh to meet up with in-laws and chow down on Pamanti Brothers stuffed sandwiches for lunch and who knows what for dinner. Sunday it's back to Cleveland where we'll be waddling for most of January until we can frop the holiday weight.

Happy New Year everyone!

Lots of POI Updates coming

Judging from all the stores that are closing around here, there will be lots of POI files needing updating in 2009. Circuit City had their signs taken off the building yesterday, 2 of our favorite restaurants in town are gone, a 3rd that we were going to try folded before we got there, an exercise location closed up, and 2 clothing stores in town have going out of business signs up.

But they are building new drug stores on every corner and every strip mall has a nail salon around here.
