Deleting POI from nuvi 205

How do I delete POI from my 205. I dragged the poi folder to the trash and its gone but the poi is still on the 205

?

Do you see any files with a gpi extension under either Garmin/POI on either the unit or the card? That is where your POIs reside. When you say "the poi is still on the 205," what leads you to that conclusion?

I should have asked whether you were using a Mac. The Mac creates a trash folder when you delete the file/folder and the GPS still sees it. Plug into the computer and empty your trash -- it will empty the trash on both the computer and the GPS.

You are welcome. Make sure you are using the beta version of POI Loader so that you can run in manual mode. Version Tracker has it.

Go to http://www.versiontracker.com/dyn/moreinfo/macosx/32218
and download is on the right. Nobody knows why Garmin doesn't have a link on their site anymore, but this is the version you want.
