SDHC Card -POIs

I assume I must use the POI Loader to place POIs on a SD Card? If I have POIs loaded in the unit's memory also does the unit default to the card, the unit or both? If it uses both the unit memory and the SD card how does it effect the file structure. For example will I have two files labeled Fast Food. The ideal would be a set of permanent POIs on the unit limited in number and A SD card with additional listings for special listings separated in specific categories (folders).

From what I've read and experienced with my gps so far, the default it usually set to the internal unit memory if you're hooking up to your PC via the USB cable. There should be a setting on your gps menu to switch to the SD card.
It's probably easier to buy a cheap card reader, though. But then you have to pull the SD card from the gps every time. Depends what's best for your model--changing the menu settings or pulling the card out (mine's hidden under the batteries!).

Yeah...Just use the loader
Yeah...Just use the loader and when you get to the recognition page hit the down arrow and see if it displays your sd card, then save to that if you wish. That's how mine works anyway Nuvi650
