Pre-Loaded Maps

I have a new RoadMate 1400. According to the package, it was supposed to be pre-loaded with US, Canada and Puerto Rico maps.

However...it has US, Hawaii and Puerto Rico loaded.

Why is that? When I tried to register the unit on Magellan's website, it would only allow me to register under the 1400 "US ONLY" model.

While I love the unit (OK, love may be too strong a word smile ) I am having a hard time dealing with Magellan and their customer service people...

Any ideas? Suggestions?

Me too

Megellan is a good GPS for the money and I had 2 a 4000 and 4250 and I got to tell you I switched to the 760 nuvi and just love it...
