Input Coordinates directly ??

Magellan Maestro 4250 (but I think the question applies to all the Maestro series):
Occasionally I come across a place that lists the coordinates INSTEAD of the address. Is there a way to input the coord. as a destination instead of using an address ??
Only way I have been able to figure out is to build a POI file with one entry......but that is a real pain....and wouldn't be available if away from my computer.

Own a 3250 here and there appears to be no way to accomplish this. Wish there was tho.
The specs on some of the newer high end models seem to reflect support for this. (4350/4370 manual references this option.)

POI Editor limitation
I have the exact same issue as what you presented.
The POI editor that came with the CD for the Magellan 4250 is quite limited in function and field for input. It only accepts input of coordinates for the address anyway. The output from the unit doesn't show the street number nor the four-digit code after the normal zip code.
Btw, is there anyway to add the phone number associated with the address like those built-in POIs in the unit, other than only in the description field? I think Magellan doesn't give the .mgln file as many input/output as the .poi file.

Alas, I believe that is true.
Although I do seem to remember about a year ago someone pointing out an easy way that you can see the description field once the file is loaded.
Unfortunately I don't remember how that works. Maybe it was a dream !?!?
P.S. A sloppy way to do that is to put the phone number into the "name" field.
