mp3 does not play

Using the Nuvi660
I have tried every combination to get the Nuvi to show a speed alert & play an MP3 at the same time.
The mp3 downloaded from Gary Hayman’s site –(excellent) – works in iTunes fine.
The files in the Garmin/POIcollection folder are:
Schools_Speed_55.bmp
Schools_Speed_55.csv
Schools_Speed_55.mp3
Used PoiLoader to transfer the files to the Nuvi.
The POI – titled “Speed for Carysford” appears in “Extras” in the Custom POIs section on screen.
In Proximity “Alerts” – the Custom POIs is selected o and the audio is set at “Continuous – All Alerts”
When I reach the location I do get the red alert sign and the Nuvi’s ‘ping’ sound but the mp3 does not play.
I seem to have done everything according to the rules ….. but ?????

Double (and TRIPLE) check for double file extensions (ie Schools_Speed_55.mp3.mp3) which will cause the Custom Audio Alert not to function.
Be sure that your File Browser on your computer is NOT set to HIDE file extensions of know types. Many computers are set this way by default. So if you typed "Schools_Speed_55.mp3", you will likely have ended up with a double file extension.
Does your Custom Icon show when you zoom in on the screen?

There were double file extensions.
Corrected those and now all is well.
