Can't save POI as a favorite

Tonight I was beginning to prepare for a trip next week to Nashville. I just purchased tickets for the Grand Ole Opry and wanted to see how best to get there. I was there once before but stayed at the hotel which provided transportation.
Anyway, using my 255W I wanted to find the theatre and save it as a favorite. I found it OK but when I went to save it, I was informed that I had already saved a favorite with that name. I was surprised by this. I went to favorites and could not find it. I am fairly sure that I have never saved this item before.
Any ideas as to why I might have gotten this message?
i have the 750 but
I think you can do the same thing. Where to> (at the bottom of the screen) Near> type in city> then check your favorites. You need to get to the city your are looking in.

You probably have more than 50 favorites
I'm betting that you have more than 50 Favorites saved. Nuvi will only show the 50 favorites that are closest to you. That's why you might actually have it saved in your Favorites, but can't see it. You can search for it by using the Spell function or use the Near function to narrow the list to the top 50 favorites near your destination.

Well, I thought you might have something but I went to "Where to" -> "Favorites" -> "All Favorites" and counted 41 so that is not the problem. What you said is good to know. I should probably delete the three Garmin locations as it is unlikely I will ever need to drive there.
In proper city
I was using the GPSr indoors and had already located to my hotel in the target city. Since I only had about three things located in Nashville, by the second screen, I was well over 100 miles. That would not appear to be the problem. Thanks for the idea though it would be easy to forget to search from the right city.
