There is a street in my subdivision that is blocked that I want to avoid my Nuvi from routinely routing.
I downloaded mapsource and I located the blocked section on the map. I think I can set it as an avoidance but what do I do after that?
How do I get this update in my Nuvi? Can you tell me step by step? Thanks

Custom avoidances cannot be transferred from MapSource to the GPS unit. Sorry.
Avoidances
You can create the Avoids in Mapsource, but in order to take advantage of them, you have to create the route in Mapsource to use it. You can't just transfer an Avoidance to the unit.
If you click Help>Index and type Avoidances in Mapsource it will tell you how to create both Road and Area Avoidances. Then you can create a route and upload it to your Unit.

Unfortunately, the OP has a nuvi 350 which does not support stored routes.
