Thanks for your response. I'll give it a shot..I only have to find out how to set proximity to ON. When I go to Where TO I don't find Proximity Tab'

Just Looked under TOOLS, SETTINGS and NO Proximity Tab there...

Al,

Before you can have proximity alerts on, you have to have loaded POIs with alerts. This is easily done using POILoader and select MANUAL to set an alert. Then you'll see the tab.

Is it Possible to ad alerts to any POI's

It will depend on the POI and what kind of alert you want. You can set speed or distance alert for all the POI in a single file or, you can edit each entry and set an alert for each item based on speed. This is what they do with a speed camera. For other POIs, it's usually easier to set a distance alert. 1320 feet is a 1/4 mile, 860 an 1/8 mile, and 2640 is a 1/2 mile.

I'm not going to get into more detail than this as I stick with the basics.
