260W operation help

I have a thin blue line (looks like a set path) going from my house in SE Michigan to Arizona where I have been playing with simulator POI's etc.
What is it and how do I get rid of it?
Also - I'm confused on the simulation use of set points to start at a location and go to a location for testing POI speed camera alerts etc.. Sorry I haven't checked back to the manual yet. For what it's worth.

goto TOOLS, Settings, Map, change the Trip Log to Hide from Show. I just fixed the same the problem to day myself.

I'm trying to figure out the start stop set points for checking POI's during simulation. I'll check the great IN-DEPTH manual GARMIN provided.

Trip Log?
Funny, my 260W is not capable of doing trip logs. And there is no Trip Log option on the Map setting page. Am I missing something, or do newer 260W's have more capability?
