Any new Nuvi 265T users?

I know they have only been out for about one week, and I am looking for some imput on it. I have read that the voice is tinny on the 255 and I was hoping that they fixed that. How bad are the pop up ads? Does the Bluetooth work fine?

Wow Racer X! I wonder if it's encrusted with diamonds or something. LOL.

On the 755 ...

On the 755 the popup ad is a small dialog box with a short text of a few words, and they only popup when your car is stopped. You will not see any popup interference from the ads while moving.

Just got a 265wt, ads are not bad. Traffic info is great, updates ever second or two, lots of info. BT seems to be a little sketchy, sometimes it won't dial poi's correctly or won't come out of mute after ending a call. Sound quality on my end is good, on the other end, mixed results.

Voice quality

How is the quality of the voice directions? I briefly used a 255 and it did not sound as good as the 700 series.

Not sure. This is my first

Not sure. This is my first nuvi and I have not played around with any of the 700s so I lack a good basis for comparison. I can say the voices are loud and understandable.

I have the 265WT and love

I have the 265WT and love it. My first GPS and it works great for me. I love the traffic feature and the ability to tinker with everything. The voice sounds fine to me, but like a previous poster I have no other GPS to base it off of. I found the features to money of the 265wt provided a great value.

Got mine 3 weeks ago. My area doesn't have traffic coverage so I just this week got to test the traffic feature. Routing, as expected, is accurate. Bluetooth quality is fair but nothing to get excited about. The problem I have is with the traffic function. Couldn't get the unit to acquire any information driving along I24/40 in the Nashville area. Called Garmin and was told to update the software. Did that and immdiatly pick up a signal in the Memphis area. Left Memphis on the return trip, ran out of the coverage area and lost the traffic icon (as expected). The unit never re-acquired a signal on the way back through Nashville. Called tech support again. After several discussions and a reset of the FM data, still nothing. Tech support concluded that the unit must be bad. Not sure I will exchange the unit for the same model. I like all of the features and the price was right, however, you get what you pay for and I think there are too many low quality features on this unit.
