Suggestion for Batch Converter or Process to Convert Addresses to Latitude/Longitude

Does anyone have a process or can recommend a software application to import multiple addresses from a .csv file and correlate the data to latitude, longitude coordinates?

Thanks!

Thank you for your reply. Your response has provided me with a viable solution for my question.

Just be warned that batch

Just be warned that batch processing can lead to many errors. Never worked for me, always have to verify individual addresses.

GeePeeEx Editor can do that (using its interface to the Yahoo! Geocoder). You can set the degree of precision required in the result.

After batching the addresses, some are showing up on a map in CA, IL, MN, MS, and NH. All locations should be in TN, NC, or SC.

Source data quality

Also keep in mind that while no batch tool will be perfect, many errors are caused by bad source data. Make sure your csv file doesn't have garbage in it.

I have found bad source data to be the biggest problem in getting correct and accurate batch conversion results.

Many times I have been forced into doing each location one at a time because the address provided is "wrong."
