Edit Favorites
On my C340 if I pull up a particular favorite it gives me a choice to edit or show on map. It allows you to change name or map symbol. You could add phone number to the name I guess.
Maybe insert your info at the time of downloading from your computer.
Where to? > Favorites >
Where to? > Favorites > select the Favorite you want to edit > touch Edit > choose the item you want to edit (Name, Map Symbol, Phone Number)
That's all you can edit.

GeePeeEx Editor provides free functionality to do this (though its documentation is somewhat lacking in this area, at the moment) :-
Notes:
Description, Link, Proximity, etc do not work with Favourites and will be stripped from the output.
In general, any changes will be merged with existing entries, but, if you use the 'Google maps' function to refine the position, you will create a new entry.
(There is no mechanism to delete Favourites, only add new ones, or modify existing ones).
The Trial version will create an annoying 'advertising entry' in your Favourites, but this is easily deleted

You can do some minor editing such as the symbol and a phone number on the device itself. To do more than that you need an editor on your PC. Nuvi Editor is a FREE program that will do the trick.

Nuvi Editor is a great tool, but there are some limits caused by Garmin. After downloading your favorites and modifying them, when you upload back to your unit, it writes then in as duplicates. You need to spend some time editing your favorites file to delete the old favorites and rename the new ones.
It's not the editor, it's Garmin that makes you manually delete each favorite.
