It may. However, there just does not seem to be enough definitive asnwers from Garmin to justify loading the update on a unit that is working perfectly well already. Just have to seen how this washes out in the coming months.

With all the goofiness lately, its almost like shooting craps with these updates...

I am chicken on updating now !!!!

Just without thinking I see an update and automatically install it on almost anything. I usually do this with all the application updates that pop up on my Mac. Usually there is no significant gain, and it winds up with me having to look up my old registration numbers or finding where I stored the original disks, In a good number of cases it involves buying a new key for the useless update or practicing my skills in deleting programs. Fortunately, after updating the nuvi 350 by rote, the little jewel seemed to like the update and continues to work flawlessly. However, I won't uncross my fingers for awhile.

my acquisition may be twice as fast as before....or I could be dreaming.
