Loading of camera files

I just uploaded the camera files to my Garmin 660. Do I need to do anything to activate them or is it automatic. This is my first upload to my GPS. confused "NEW guy"

I don't think you have to do anything. You can browse the closest items in each category by selecting... "where to" then "extras" then "Custom POIs."

The simple answer is

Once the speed and red light camera POIs are loaded into your Garmin, you shouldn't have to do anything. The POI is formatted to alert you when you approach a camera.

During the upload you should have been given the option of alerts at "speed" or "distance". I always use distance (set at 1000) since I always like to know that they are there for both the red light and speed camera.

As the replies to your other post stated, read the FAQs and look around the site.

Did you load them with POILoader?
