FYI: You might like the www.schmap.com website as it has programed tour maps of many popular cities in the U.S. and around the world. It also allows you to convert any of the recommended tourist sites and restaurants and hotels to Lat/Longs.

I took a quick look at Washington DC and noted that the information regarding hotels is dated. The copyright date is 2005 so the newer hotels - many are boutique - are not listed. Didn't go through the other features, it's probably pretty good as the city doesn't change that much as far as sights.
