My c330 came with the v7 map. I ordered the updated v8 from Garmin. When I do the update, will the POI's I've loaded be erased, or will they stay intact?

My c330 came with the v7 map. I ordered the updated v8 from Garmin. When I do the update, will the POI's I've loaded be erased, or will they stay intact?
The maps, as with the software update do not affect the custom POI's you have loaded. In any case, it is a good practice to have a folder on you PC with all of your custom POI's so that you can reload or update them at any time.
