Nope, this a local upstate SC Halloween event.

There are claims that the USS Salem, the world's last remaining Heavy Cruiser, is haunted. Whether it's haunted or not during the rest of the year, they run a "haunted ship" during the fall.

I've been to the shady brooks farm hay ride in the past, it was the best I've been on. And I see by the trailer on there site, it's gotten a lot better! Anyone from the area should check it out, it's worth the time!

This is a great idea, but I have a few suggestions. I believe there should be multiple versions of this file.

First file will include places only opened during Halloween/October

Second file will includes places that are opened year round.

Third file will include "free" to enter places such as woods, some cemeteries, building, etc.

This list is missing what is known to be one of the most haunted places, not just in the chicagoland are, but the entire world!

Located near the southwest suburb of Midlothian is the Rubio Woods Forest Preserve, an island of trees and shadows nestled in the urban sprawl of the Chicago area. The rambling refuge creates an illusion that it is secluded from the crowded city that threatens its borders, and perhaps it is. On the edge of the forest is a small graveyard that many believe may be the most haunted place in the region. The name of this cemetery is Bachelor’s Grove and this ramshackle burial ground may be infested with more ghosts than most can imagine. Over the years, the place has been cursed with more than 100 documented reports of paranormal phenomena, from actual apparitions to glowing balls of light.
There have been no new burials here for many years and as a place of rest for the departed, it is largely forgotten. But if you should ask any ghost hunter just where to go to find a haunting, Bachelor’s Grove is usually the first place in Chicago to be mentioned!

I can't locate my previous note but it's not: "Scary-Zona."

The correct spelling of the name of the book is, "Scare-Izona: a Travel Guide to Arizona's Spookiest Spots." It's by Katie Mullaly and J. Patrick Ohlde, and covers spots that could be POIs.
