Loading new POI's and losing what I had.. how did I do that?

The subject line tells the story.. just wanted to add a new poi or 2 into my Zumo and when it was all over, all I could find were the 2 new files... not happy!! Had some beauties from all over the web there.. OK.. so I downloaded the new ones into a desktop file in order that POI loader could transfer them.. I'm on a different computer than what I used to install the original eclectic mix..that sort of thing happens when you spend months on the road you know... so HOW CAN I ADD POI'S WITHOUT LOSING WHAT I HAVE?? Most important trick for a mysterycruiser!! thanks gang..

Use the 'Renaming' method of loading Custom POIs. Check out:

Just curious but if you use different computers and on the road alot why not carry files on a sd card or memory stick? That would allow you to update files plus transfer files to any computer while on the road.

You can combine both the 'Folder' and 'Rename' method. For example, put all of the gas station POIs in one folder on the computer, upload it to the GPS, and rename it GasStations.gpi ... do the same for eating establishments, etc.
