Adding Phone Links and other extras to Nuvi POIs

Hello All

I have noticed a number of posts about difficulties in getting the phone links working on the Garmin

I had the same problem so set out to investigate.

Listed below are my findings.

To add the phone number with a dial icon requires the use of a GPX file as Garmin have added extensions to that scheme. I have yet to find a way to do it with CSVs.

Starting out with GPXs is not for the faint hearted, get a good GPX editor.

Be aware not all GPX editors properly support the extensions. The one below does
