I pulled the trigger on a Nuvi 880!

A year ago I had researched the best pricing online for the 680 and found that PC Nation had an amazingly low price for that time. I ended up buying at Costco because they had an even better deal and I liked that they had a liberal return policy.

When I started having a problem with my 680 (it froze a number of times) I decided that if I could return it I would get an 880. I still had the link to PC Nation and when I checked they had what I considered a great deal.

I got up this morning really excited about my plan to upgrade to a new 880. I already knew that Costco would give me a refund for my 680 if I had the box and all the parts.

I had gone a little crazy last night because I couldn't find the box! Anal me, I always save all the boxes from my purchases, so I knew it had to be somewhere in the house.

Fortunately, after going back over all the places in the house where I thought it could be, I finally found where I had left it. Yay!

Sure enough, no problem at Costco (they're really great) and a short time later I had my cash in hand. I really wish that they were carrying the 880 at this time, but since they aren't I went with the best price that I could find online.

I think this is a wonderful deal, so if you know it's cheaper somewhere else, please post it, but I won't feel bad because I only had to lay out $150 with the refund on the 680.

I can't wait until I get the 880 delivered.

But, as I always say, "that's just my opinion, I could be wrong." smile

You're gonna love it

Hey, I know the feeling of can't wait!
I have the 880 and keep it turned on right here in the study next to my computer, when it is not turned on in the car. The little battery (replaceable, I might add) never gets used, so now and again I unplug the 12v cord from the 110 adapter just to let it discharge.

Glad to have another 880 user on board. You found a really great price too.
