Help with using Map Source

I live on the East Coast and will be travelling to the West Coast to attend a wedding. I'd like to program my GPS to take me from John Wayne airport to the Hotel and to the Grooms house and then to Burbank airport. I have fiddled with Map Source and am totally flummoxed as to how to set this up. Appreciate it if anyone could tell me in real basic, step by step measures how I can accomplish this. Many thanks in advance.

Yes, MapSource is not intuitive

You would use the Find menu to search for the address or places that you want to go to. Once found, a "Make Waypoint" button will become available. Click it and name it. Continue adding places that you wish to visit. You will see them listed in the Waypoints tab.

When you are finished, connect your GPS and select Transfer, Send to Device.

Thanks and another question

How can I save my various routes and then load them into the GPS? What I want to do is map several routes on map source and then load them into the GPS. It seems that when I do the routes they disappear. Thanks for your help.

I3?

Your profile says you have an I3. If I read the specs correctly, the I3 does not support routes. Unless you have a specific need to travel on specific roads, this really won't be necessary. Just create the various waypoints that you intend to visit and save them to the device. You would just select Go To one at a time and let it take you from place to place.

.

Yep. You can't store routes on the that unit.
