Accuracy issues w/City Navigator North America NT 2009

Has anyone else noticed inaccuracy of finding locations since Loading the new 2009 Map?
I am considering trying to go back to the 2008 Map due to erroneous directions. I did not have this issue with the 2008 Map. I have heard one other person so far with the same issue. Thanks for your response!

Inaccurate how?

I have the 2009 maps but haven't noticed anything that doesn't seem to be working. Are you saying that it leads you to a wrong location and then says that you have arrived where you obviously haven't?

Successful Download?

How do I know if I successfully downloaded City Navigator North America NT 2009 onto my Garmin 360.

Thanks for your help.

Andy

Haven't seen anything broken

I haven't seen anything broken. In fact routing has improved in my area. (Because some new roads were added since the 2008 map!)

What map is loaded?

Go to Wrench->Map->Map Info
You should see "City Navigator North America NT 2009"

Improved routing

We don't have new roads and the routing is better. I live about a mile from the interstate, which is a left out of our development and then a right onto a highway that runs right to it. The 2008 maps always wanted me to turn right out of the development and then take me down back roads to get there. The 2009 routes me correctly. The funny thing was that the 2008 maps routed correctly coming home. It was only the outbound trip that necessitated it thinking the back roads were best.

I just loaded 2009 map last night...

and it took 1.5 hours to do it. There are many new roads just build around my work last couple years and they all showed up on the new map. I like it so far.

Still using the 2008 maps,

Still using the 2008 maps, so don't know much about the 2009, but how is it 'inaccurate'? Is it giving you completely wrong directions or does it just seem 'off' in some places. I know that there are a couple of exits on the interstate near me that are a little ways off from where the 2008 maps think they are. It tends to confuse my unit for a few minutes if I have to use those exits.

The opposite for me, there

The opposite for me, there is a wal-mart and various other shops in the same area that have been there for a few years and are still not listed in the 09 update.
