I was looking over some stuff, trying to come up with some ideas for new entries for one of my POI files, and got thinking.

I've put several museums in my OC Attractions file, and when I was out surfing the web for ideas for new entries, I realized Laguna Beach has quite a bit of ... well I guess Public Art is the best term.

There are several statues, sculptures, a number of Robert Wyland murals (including what I am told is his 1st public mural).

I was pondering making a route or track file, or a garmin guided tour file of the various objects d'art there..

Any thoughts?

Many of the Nuvi units can't

Many of the Nuvi units can't use routes or tracks, so that's why we have POIs at this site. The Tour Guides are nice , but again not all GPSrs can use them.

This is just my personal suggestion, but more people would benefit if time is used to create more POIs....just my opinion.

Great - thats basically what I was trying to ask in a roundabout way
