POI files for Garmin Nuvi 760

GO to Garmin's website and download their "POI Loader". It will load both formats on to your nuvi

I bought a Nuvi 760 last week and love it. I use the .csv format but i believe either one will work.....enjoy it!!

ya...POI loader reads GPX and CVS both, and LOC as well.I've loaded several cvs's from here, and several GPX and LOC files from the geocaching website, no problemo.

I received my Nuvi 760 in the mail today,and am going to download updates tommorrow.
Can't wait to start playing with this thing.

One thing to be aware of when choosing file types. If the POI file creator had telephone information for the locations, that can be included in the gpx file. It won't work in a csv file. If you have a unit with bluetooth capabilities it's nice to be able to dial the number associated with the poi.
