Hello/Intro

Hi everyone. Great work here, I can't believe the effort that's been put into these POIs. Once I get a grasp of how it all works, I hope to be able to contribute...

Matt

Welcome

Have a great time learning on how to get the most out of your GPS. Start by reading Getting Started on the top right hand side and then go to FAQ. Enjoy,

Glad to have you aboard. Like everyone's been saying, there's lots here to help you both learn about and contribute to gps use! Use the 'search' feature now and then if you're not sure someone's already asked a question you might have because I've found in using the site that a lot of discussion's have happened in the past that have the info I need. A lot of good links are pasted in the threads, too. Take care!

to learn a lot, too! I also read a lot of the stuff Garmin posts on their web site. Very good background as well as some nice, free downloads and links to recommened sites Garmin likes.

Check this out; I copied it from another forum topic since it is recently posted by ghayman:

Welcome Matt

A great resource and fine bunch of folks.

First you start out with a cerebral meltdown seeing so many POI to choose from. Then you get the jitters while attempting to download them. Then the comfort level increases and you look for more and more. The awe continues to grow and then somehow along the way YOU end up contributing to the vast wealth of information here!
