POI Problems

First, let's check the file to make sure the locations by your house have not been deleted. You can check the csv file by opening it in Microsoft Excel and then scrolling down to your area.

Or if you'd prefer, I can test the file on my 750. Just tell me your street, city, and state. (I don't need your actual address.)

Other than a file issue, the only thing I can think of that could be causing this problem is if you have your unit set on simulation mode and you have your location set to a different town. But since you rebooted the unit it wouldn't be in simulation mode.

The file seems OK. Your profile says you are either in Hollywood, Fl or Melrose, MA. The file has locations for both those areas. I don't know what could be wrong.

Delete line 2045 and then save it. Try and reload and see what happens. Line 2045 was no good. I will send Miss POI the updated file tomorrow and she will post it. Let me know what happens.

I should have said that I did check the file and found all my local DD near my house.(just checked it again) My house address is still list as HOME. Simulation is off. My banks atm shows up the street. I live Melrose, Ma., When I check the list in my Nuvi the first one is Utica,NY. The last to show up is Pittson,PA. I only can go as the first 52. In the Excel File that I used to load my nuvi, my local DD is on line 5406 of that file.

delete line # 2045 then save the file and reload it? When I put in your city the first one to come uop is 348 Main St, Melrose, MA and next is 470 Lynn Fells Pkwy, Melrose, MA and so on.

I corrected the file and sent it to Miss POI. POI Verifier did the trick.

Yep. You don't have to delete line 2045, just correct it. 'POI Verifier' showed it couldn't parse line 2045. Looking at it in Notepad (NOT Excel) showed the problem to be 3 trailing commas with no trailing quote.

It's been corrected and sent to Miss POI.
