loss of detail

HELP - recently (over the last 10 days) I have lost most detail on my maps. Things like exit ramps, even some fairly major interstates that have been built in the last several years. The odd part is that when I first got my Nuvi 660 (maybe 2 months ago), everything was fine. Now, I've actually lost data. What the heck!
It came with 2008 maps, and I have not updated.

Ok, we need some more information. Like have you deleted files on your unit. Have you made major changes? Do you have a backup of the unit on your computer?
But the first thing to check is to see if somehow the maps just got deselected on the unit. Go to Settings > Map > Map Info and see if City Navigator 2008 is listed and if the check box is checked.
Then be sure that your map detail is set to Most. Settings > Map > Map Detail.

Well now, just how stupid do you think I am? Check to see if the map box is checked?!? Oh, wait a minute...hey, how'd that happen? I remember looking around there the other day. Sure enough, I unchecked it. What a moe-ron!
