I think if you put your POIs on your SD card, then you will have more memory on your Garmin...
.
They don't take up much space on the unit, but if you feel like you need more space then you can put them on the card.

If you search for these two words, you will find plenty of opinions on this.
Nuvi 660 -- and not upgrading it or maps until Garmin fixes long-standing bugs/problems, and get maps to where they are much more current, AND corrected on a more timely basis when advised of mistakes.
