I was wondering if anyone could tell me whether there is a way to view the last post/discussion I have written in. I know you can go to your recent posts, but this only shows what you have posted a comment on and when it was last updated. However, the posts are listed in the order by which they are updated; whether that be by me or someone else. I would like to see which posts I have written a comment in and when I made my last comment. I think this would be useful (at least for me).
If this isn't a functionality already, is it possible to add?
how does one get a windmill?
when you go to the recent posts have you tried the tag for "MY RECENT POSTS" or when you go to the recent posts there is a column for the replys and under that a number for "NEW" hope this get you where you want to go.
I believe you have to be active in the forum for 5 or 6 consecutive weeks. Miss POI could tell you for sure.
Here is the FAQ area that discusses the Active Member program http://www.poi-factory.com/node/6660
You have to be actively involved for 3 of the last 5 weeks.
We are limited by the software that we run the site on, we are looking to make improvements this fall. I will talk to Jon about this and see if it would be an easy improvement.
If you go to my account and post you will see all the posts that you ave written in and the last is on top or near the top.
Just click on the "Track" tab in "My account." Not my account, of course, but your account's "my account"!
I appreciate the help, but it didn't quite answer the mail. I know how to look at the "My recent posts" and "Track" items in my account. However, the items are listed by when they were last updated. It does not matter if I made that update or not. For example, this post was the last one I had written to. Yet, the first post listed in "my recent Posts" was "what poi's would you like to see" because someone had posted to it 14 hours ago. I hadn't left a comment on that post for over 2 weeks.
Miss POI, I hope you will be able to add this feature in the future. I think it would be beneficial. Hopefully it won't be very difficult.
Again, thanks for everyone's input and help.
Even just being able to sort on the Type column would be a great help. Often, especially if I've been away from the site for a while, all I'm interested in are the newest POI files. The engaging conversations we have here are great, but sometimes, you just want the meat.
