Can't find newly loaded POI

Hi Everyone, First let me start of with I am a newbie. I sent Ms POI an update for a new Famous Dave's in my city. She updated the POI file. I downloded it and sent it to my nuvi 750. I cannot find the location on the nuvi under Custom POIs.

POI's

You need to "push" (touch/tap) the "custom Poi's" to see them.

Nadoh,
Are you by any chance using a Mac? I just downloaded it on my Mac and looked at the file and Safari sees it (and saves it) as having a double extension. Coincidental or not, this is another file that has been verified by POI Verifier. I also noticed that the coordinates are about 100 ft from the road and that might be too far to give an alert on Dobson Rd.

Is that the only POI file that you loaded when you ran POI Loader? If so, have you thought of checking the date/time on the POI.gpi file to see if the new file really got loaded? We know the location is in the new file, so I would suspect the new version wasn't loaded if that location isn't there.

From your response, I'm not sure you realize what I was trying to say about the coordinates being too far from the road. If you want an alert, they should not be more than 50 from the road.

Finally, you can make it much easier to follow the thread if you will either address your post to a specific user or use the quote button.

Thanks I will check it out.
