I will be in New Zealand this fall and am seeking a copy of the map. Garmin sells it for $150 which is too much for a one time trip. If anyone wants to sell a copy I am interested. Please contact me at my email address:

It is a free open source project for NZ last time I checked (before x-mas) they did not have TTS up yet so check the latest on their forums.

Free, updated weekly, better than City Navigator, very active user forum. Superb 70,000+ POI file from http://www.zenbu.co.nz is included with the map download.
