Tour Guide and Nuvi 260W

I want to share this information that I obtained from Garmin International:

"The Tour Guide and Tour Guide alerts will work on the Nuvi 260W. You would use the POI Loader program to load the custom POIs to your unit and create you own Tour Guide Alerts or download ones that you have already created."

Now, I would appreciate if someone, who uses tour guides, would provide me an example of how to use this functionality. The more detailed, the better.
