Sparky did a few acts with the local circus awhile back. At that time he was using a stage name for this act.

It was Shish Ka "Bob".

In viewing this video of his act you can see why he pick this name.

And I have four more Mondays to go this week.

Ken I agree for us retired people there are no weekends or workdays they are all play days or do what ever you want day.

Well, I get to play most days, or at least do something I like that is working with technology. Today was a Monday.

It was an action packed holiday weekend that started on Thursday night and didn't end until late Sunday night... (almost ready to go to work.) Ok, maybe not.

I'll enjoy it while it lasts. It probably won't last. I'm expecting them to implode any time now... like after the all-star break.

I hate Monday's, but looking on the bright side only 4 more days till friday. .

I am still working on the Old Navy Poi, I at least got all the locations. I never knew there were so many Old Navy's. Now I'm just checking the spelling and abbreviations on them.

I have got to get Excel, it's just to hard with notepad.

I'm done with my ranting.

Working 7 days a week for the past 3months.....i think i'm due for a vacation or at least "a mental health day"

It is soooooooooo nice being retired, can finally get caught up on the HONEY DOOOOOOOOOOOOSSSSSSSSS. am enjoying it, SO far that is,

"HONEY" left me with a list when she left to go to VA on the 30th - she's returning in 2 hours or so and the "DO" list is only about 1/3 done. I think I'm in deep do-do !

Gary it looks like you guy's got the real McCoy down there along side I-75 playing at Tropicana Field. So sit yourself in that comfy recliner and Hold your breath (don't forget that cold Brewski), then experience the thrill of whats to come, watching the Boys of Summer(your Rays) approach the playoffs, go to the playoffs and finally winning the ALCS. And of course the big sausage, the WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP, playing the World Series.

Since The Tribe is packing up the wigwam for the year and making deals and trades even before the All-star break, I guess I just root along with you for the RAY's, Just save me a cold one.

I was off on the 4th as a holiday, and I'm off all this week as a vacation. I'm loving it! I'm heading to Louisiana to do a little gambling tomorrow.

Summermug - Every time I see one of your posts and look at your photo, I do a double-take. I swear you look enough like my Dad to be his twin. My Dad passed in 1997, but you look so much like him...

you would think being a teacher that summer was fun, but between teaching summer school and getting ready for next year its no picnic.

No but really we can make any day a holiday or 2 day, 3 day or 4 day week or weekend.

too bad we can't ship all the flood waters to California...to put out the fires..I guess that would be too good to be true..

Currently on vacation at the Outer Banks, NC. Great... but, looks like that hurricaine is pushing this way... already had some bad storming earlier today. Oh well... this too shall pass.

It is so sad that some have to go to a beer store to get beer. Here in VA, I can go to a drug store, walmart, food lion, convenience store...endless of choices. That is one of the things I hate about traveling, have ot figure out where I can get beer!!!!

That's one of many things I miss about Washington. I could get beer and wine at any grocery store.

Here in Colorado, you can only get limited selection of beer, and wine (or anything stronger) is out of the question.

Count your blessings. Here in Maryland, you can't get anything alcoholic at the grocery store. It's positively inhumane
