Deleting TomTom itineraries

Just found this attractive "pond" and jumped right in. The 80-page on-line manual from TomTom raises more questions than it answers. Fortunately, the menus are identical to your 510 and I hope you can enlighten me:

When making a test itinerary - either with TT Home or on the device - I am unable to delete all vestiges of it when I want to prepare one "for real".

Please give me the steps to remove out via points (called way points on the 910), as well as those marked as "destinations".

I hope we have a feature here that alerts me to a posted reply.

Thanks!

Itineraries

I have a TT700, but I think the menus are the same.

To delete:

Goto menu 2 of 5 on the main screen, hit "Itinerary Planning". From there goto "Options".

When you are there you can do New, Load, Delete, Save, etc.

When you are looking at the Itinerary (Will have Option|Add|Done at the bottom), tapping on the waypoint will bring up another menu that will allow you to turn it from a waypoint to a destination or back to a waypoint.

Waypoints will show up as little flags on your route. Destinations assume you will stop and are treated a bit different.

Hope this helps.

I had same question - Thanks
