Not all the FDNY alarm box locations are included

I am an FDNY chauffer and I downloaded the fire box POI file. It can be a great tool but I found a lot of the boxes aren't covered. I have used the file and it has come in handy but I would like to know how I can fill in the ones that are missing. I'm not sure about the other boros but Staten Island is missing a lot of locations. Anyone out there know how to add coordinates?

I would also like to help update the box locations. I am working on a complete list of box locations. How do I input the ones that are not listed?

I have been adding non-included box locations to my "Saved Favorites" folder. Anybody know if there is a way to transfer them to my "Custom POI's" so I can add them to my list?

Normally you would contact the person who created the POI file, but it appears that person does not have the contact feature enabled. So you should contact Miss POI and provide her with the updates.

Boxes & Quarters POI
Many boxes missing in Queens. Many City line boxes and many Highway boxes missing. Can you possibly update?

Send the owner/creator of the file the missing locations an I bet they would be happy to add them.

If your file format is csv you can use word or excel to open the file and add the missing boxes. Or email me the info you have and I will add them and upload the file with the added info. lifestar53 at g mail.com

You do realize that this post is 3 years old? The maintainer "may2007" has no contact tab and his/her files are all over 3 years old. If you have up to date box locations and you want to maintain the file you need to contact Miss Poi. This site is not allowing duplicate poi's. We are trying to get rid of duplicates and those that are not maintained. But Miss Poi needs to attempt contact with the maintainer first.
