2009 Map update

Is there a expire date to recieve the free 2009 map update. Wife got me a Zumo 450, but I won't get to see it for another couple weeks. I heard on a motorcycle forum that the free update ends either July or August. Is this true?

I just bought a zumo 450 and did the city nav update (which took most of a day incidentaly)and after it was loaded, the unit informed me that it was already installed, prior to purchase. So it was not necessary to reinstall.
Perhaps you know which mount to purchase would provide windshield mount? I want to use this in my car too. There are several car mounts and it is confusing.
