Garmin Newbie

Just compleated my first vacation trip (Detroit to Cape Cod, Boston area) with my new Garmin Nuvi 260w and it was so cool. Nice not having to rely on the wife for navigating which sometimes causes some friction. Overall this thing is a great gadget but did find it not totally fool proof and you still have to pay attention to where you are going. Had several incedences where turns where wrong and in one case would have had us going the wrong way on a one way street. I talked with some other Garmin users that experianced simmilar issues. Should I be keeping a log of errors and reporting to Garmin for future updates? One thing I would like to see added to the avoidance list is Canada. When planning our trip east, the GPS routed us through Canada Sarnia to Buffalo NY and border crossings where a nightmare (we drive a large motorhome) so we decided on our return trip to stay in the states which would add a little more time and miles but would be better than sitting in long delays at the borders. Anyway the Garmin wanted to take us the Canadian route because it was both the fastest and shortest route. We had to manually plot our course with Via points to keep us stateside. Would have been nice to omitt Canada. My dad just purchased a Nuvi and my sister & nephew both got Tom Tom's. My boys are getting theirs for christmas, mabey sooner, they keep borrowing mine.
Cheers

My GpsR has border avoidance

It would be a very good idea to create a list of errors to report to both Navteq(map maker) and Garmin. My Navigon has border avoidance, so I can stay out of Canada if I like.
