Coordinates
Touch the screen, and you will be afforded the chance to save the current location (by coordinates).

Thanks - but what I am looking for is the Latitute and Longitute numbers to add to my POI list.
.
The coordinates ARE the latitude and longitude. Do you mean something else instead?
The only way I can see the coordinates on my 760

Is with the gps in simulator mode, I first set the location by moving the map so the pointer points at the location I am interested in, I then set location, push back, I then point this location and when I stop pushing on the location a window opens, it has the coordinates listed in the window....

You can also very lightly
You can also very lightly touch at the "Where To? screen;farthest top left hand corner of your nuvi where it will show the satellites and the bottom left hand corner will give you the accurate coordinates where you currently are.

another thought after rereading your post..
If you are at the location, use the where am I function in tools, it opens the same window...
I'm assuming you have a 760....

and yet another way...
If you have the location saved to your favorites, with the gps in simulation mode, select the favorite location, show on map, and then the where am I selection in tools, or go to the menu screen and touch the signal strength indicator for several seconds as previously mentioned by nickjr...
