For something as broad-based as that, wouldn't the built in POIs provide you far more than you need to choose from? Are you thinking of some kind of list of "recommended" restaurants -- people's favorites?

A scan of the first page of Restaurant POIs does give one kinda interesting offering of restaurants featured on LX.TV : http://www.poi-factory.com/node/13852 .

Nuvi 660 -- and not upgrading it or maps until Garmin fixes long-standing bugs/problems, and get maps to where they are much more current, AND corrected on a more timely basis when advised of mistakes.

i AGREE..

A Custom poi is uselly created for a spicify item. Like if you want to know where all the "Wal-marts" are in your eara (the 1st 50 at least) or like I create, The recomended Repair shops to go to.. sometrhing like that. The norm should be listed on your GPS and not really needed to be a custom POI. That is just my thought!
