MAP UPDATES FOR GARMIN C330

The mapset is for one unit only, unless you happen to luck out and find someone that has 2 of them and wants to sell you one cheap, or go look around and see the different sites that may have them cheaper than garmin, if you want to do a download for it then Garmin has it, if not just follow this link and look at all the sites that have the new maps,

Less expensive than Garmin, like Costco is selling the update for about $15 less than Garmin and that includes shipping... The disk is probably a little less hassle than down loading it, as that takes several hours on a DSL line... If you just purchased the C330 you may be able to get one from Garmin for a shipping fee, if you whine and cry like I did... Actually they were pretty nice and just gave me one....y can't you....

I just got my Nuvi 650 in January 2008. Do you think Garmin will give me an update.

Probably not for free.

Typically, in order to be eligible for a free map update, you would need to have purchased an eligible unit AFTER the map update was released. The date that Garmin is using (from most reports) is March 1, 2008. So you would need to have purchased your unit after that date.

That stinks. You would think that they would support their product with updates for a set time, like a year. I have to see if the update is worth the money. Otherwise, I will wait.
