How long does it take to charge with the USB? Is it charging when you see the computer icon under the Garmin
I had it in a couple of hours and the unit was only charged half way.

Nuvi 660 -- and not upgrading it or maps until Garmin fixes long-standing bugs/problems, and get maps to where they are much more current, AND corrected on a more timely basis when advised of mistakes.
Nuvi 760 USB charging
Before plugging in the USB cable (with the unit on) press and hold the battery icon until the diagnostic screen appears. Then plugin the USB cable and you can see the battery state of charge.
