Determining coordinates for points on favorites list

While trying to find the answer to your question, I noticed it gave the locations coordinates when I checked it in my favorites. Another location I had added just gave the address so??? The difference being one location was on a street, the other was off the street…

Another thought, if you have mapsource, by pointing the location it will give you the coordinates at the bottom of the display...

I do have mapsource, but just recently got it installed. Not sure how to "sync" or "tie" the points on the nuvi to the points cataloged in mapsource....
If you could provide guidance on that, it would be swell.

There is an icon near the top the left one (with the arrow pointing up) that when you point to it will say receive from device. Check way points under what to receive then click receive and the waypoint/favorites will be down loaded to MapSource. In the window on the right of MapSource click on waypoints... Then double click on the waypoint and you will also find the coordinates there...

This is not a very straight forward method but will work if you need to get the coordinately of favorites off the GPS.

Turn on the Nuvi 200. Hit the wrench icon in the bottom right, go to Settings -> System -> GPS Simulator = ON. OK out of there, push and hold BACK to go to main menu again (or three back taps).

"Where to?" icon -> Favorites then select the favorite from the list you want to see the coordinates for and it puts you in the screen showing the Favorite info and the big green GO button (don't touch it). Pick "Show Map" then "Set Loc".

Push and hold BACK to get to the main menu, hit "View map", tap the car icon. And there you have it.
