Lakes and Boat Launches for Connecticut & All of the USA would be Great

Does anyone have a database for a Garmin nuvi 760 to locate lakes and boat launches in Connecticut, New England or the USA?
How does one go about finding and/or producing this type of information to be put on a personal travel assistant.
It seems to me and anyone I have spoken to that this database would be invaluable to boaters and fishing enthusiats.

CT Boat Launch Locations
Usveteran,
I just uploaded a POI file for CT boat launch locations. Data are from the CT DEP list of sites. It includes a comment for each site as to whether it allows trailer, or only car top access. It should be available for use in a day or so.
