Does anyone know how to add POI's to the Honda nav system? I know it is DVD-based. Help!!

????? is it built in the car???? Sorry I am not familiar with a Honda Gps system...do they make units similar to garmin?

but I have the same question.
My wife purchased a 2011 Honda CrossTour with a built-in GPS system.
Map updates are via a DVD one can buy from Honda each year.
Theoretically POIs can be added, but there seems to be no documentation nor software tools about doing this.
Anyone have any information?

I called Honda, and discovered that the GPS is made by Alpine.

Lots of luck with that. As far as I know none of the in-auto GPS units can accept custom POI input. There have been various threads about the issue.
