NAVMATE AND CUSTOM POI

I'm considering an Advent HU. The unit comes with Navmate GPS software.

Does anyone know if it will accept traffic camera POI files?

The maps are on a 4 Gig SD card but the manual doesn't mention removing the card and using a computer to add anything.

my experience

My experience has always been if the documentation doesn't state some thing is allowed, assume it isn't. So, on those lines if there is nothing in the documentation stating it will accept custom input it usually means it won't.

I hate it when people don't

I hate it when people don't update a thread.

I did some further googling. It looks like the software which is used to update maps also lets you import POI. Garmin is one of the formats which is accepted.

I'd still like to hear from anyone using Navmate.
