Includes 23 locations in the following areas:
- United States: KS, MO
Twenty-two of the most popular attractions in the Kansas City metro area. There were two major sources for selection of the attractions and for the data about them: 1) the "Visitors' Choice" awards, a program of the Kansas City Convention & Visitors Assn, in which outside-the-area visitors are polled about the attractions they enjoyed most; and 2) the personal experience and observations of CaseyGuy, a Kansas City resident.
Locations confirmed and coordinates determined using MS Virtual Earth, with occasional help from Google Maps.
There are two csv files: one with line breaks, and one without. The first, KC_TopAttractions_With-Linebreaks.csv, is designed so that info appears in this format:
Name of attraction
Street address
City State
Phone
Hours [when available]; prices [when available]
Originally submitted 6 May 2008.
Update 11 May 2008: Added a favorite dinner theater, The New Theatre Restaurant. Cleaned up a few odds and ends in the Description field, too.
