Help NUVI 660 / Fodor's Travel Guide

I just purchased and loaded the Travel guide. Fodors North America appears under extras. However when I select it "No Data Found appears" It worked fine until I updated to Software Ver. 3.2.

Any ideas?

Help Nuvi 660

I assume you took the card out and put it back in - are you looking in Extras under "Where to"- can you see the card as a drive in MY Computer - turn the unit off without the card - turn it back on and insert the card.
I have had no problem at all with Fodors.

Mines working fine

I have had no issues with mine. I put it in after I started my NUVI 660 and then loaded it to the device. Then I took the card out and it works fine. originally it only showed up under Travel Kit/ Travel guide. When I upgraded to 3.2, it now also shows up under Where to/ Extras.

You might try reseting your system and then reloading the Travel Guide. I agree that you should first make sure there is a file on your card.

I hope you got the issue resolved.

My fear is that the SD card could have been inadvertently erased.

After you load it, it incorporates it into Main Nuvi Memory and you don't need the card anymore.

I am looking into the language module. Anyone try that yet?

same issue here

After 3.2 I have the same issue. It is the update that causes this condition.
If you go to FNA via the Travel Guide 1st, it will work in Extras (you won't get the no data message).

I backed my 660 up and tried the update 3 times and finished with the same results everytime.

Maybe it will be fixed in the next update? Who knows?

I don't think it downloads the whole card - just the categories - you still need the card for the detail. Garmin website indicates so and tells you to download any books and mp3 to main memory.
For Example - go to Boston without the card in - you will a category sights - tap on it - you don't see any detail.

No Card In Nuvi

I leave the FNA card out of my 660 and get all of the information from the card. (Boston,All Categories,Details..)
I'm under the impression that when it loads the data from the card it takes everything.

No card in nuvi

I will take that back - it does keep the detail now - something must of when a rye when I tried it a 30 minutes ago.

Takes everything

When I uploaded mine it took everything. I went to Nashville, it worked, went to Savannah, it worked mine doesnt seem to have any issues.
